Bulk upload YouTube Shorts

If you cut Shorts in batches, uploading them one by one in YouTube Studio is the slow part. drrop.io sends a whole folder of vertical clips to your channel in one go. There is no Shorts specific feature. drrop.io just uploads videos, and YouTube handles the Shorts classification on its side.

What drrop.io does for Shorts

  • Up to 20 clips per batch

Drag a folder of vertical files into the upload zone. Uploads run in parallel so the batch finishes close to the time of your largest file.

  • Automatic naming

Each title is built from the file: date_orientation_duration_filename. Orientation is portrait, landscape, or square, detected from the file. You can add a title suffix for the whole batch.

  • Privacy set once

Public, unlisted, or private, applied to every file in the batch. There is also a Made for Kids toggle.

  • Google Sheet log

Every upload gets a row with the title, the YouTube video ID, and the URL, in a sheet in your own Google Drive.

What drrop.io does not do

No scheduling. There is no "post at 9am tomorrow" button. Every file in a batch starts uploading when you hit upload, and it goes live under the privacy you picked. If you need staggered posting across the week, you will have to schedule those from YouTube Studio after the files are on your channel.

No custom thumbnails at upload. drrop.io does not pick or upload a thumbnail. YouTube auto generates the usual options and you can swap one in from Studio later.

No per video description or tag editing. drrop.io sends the title, privacy, and Made for Kids setting to YouTube. It does not set a description or tags on upload. For those edits, open the video in YouTube Studio after it uploads.

How do you upload multiple Shorts at once?

To upload multiple Shorts at once, drop a folder of vertical videos into a bulk uploader like drrop.io, set privacy once, and let the batch upload to your channel in parallel. Shorts are 9:16 vertical videos up to 3 minutes long, with 1080x1920 as the recommended resolution. YouTube has moved the length cap before and may move it again.

drrop.io is free during open beta, so you can run through the flow end to end at no cost.
